Fresh checks
A live response from their trusted phone.
Each five-minute request is tied to one shared Circle and the one trusted phone attached to that person’s FamVerify identity. They use Face ID, fingerprint or their phone passcode before it can sign a one-use response.
- Pending, verified, unsuccessful, expired and cancelled states are kept distinct.
- No reply is never presented as a successful check.
Private Circles
Trust stays deliberate.
Keep your household, parents and wider family in separate Circles. Only the owner creates an invitation; it expires, works once and only lets somebody request access.
- An owner or admin must recognise and approve every join request.
- Owners manage invitations and people; members can leave at any time.

Circle Check-in
Ask everyone in a Circle how they are.
Start one shared check-in and each person can answer I’m OK or I need help from their trusted phone. Progress stays visible for the whole Circle, so nobody has to chase separate replies across calls and messages.
- Responses are signed by each person’s trusted phone and can be corrected while the check-in is active.
- Owners and authorised admins can acknowledge a request for help and mark it resolved.
Requests & activity
Important actions do not disappear.
Notifications open the exact verification, check-in, approval or account issue. The request inbox and Attention Centre keep current actions visible, while each Circle shows its recent safety and membership activity.
- Circle members can review recent participants, outcomes and times.
- Live Activities on supported iPhones and ongoing Android notifications keep active checks close at hand.
Recovery Guardian
A safer way back after a lost phone.
Nominate one trusted Circle member through a protected acceptance check. If you lose your phone, they can start recovery and give you one-time pairing details for a replacement.
- A 24-hour safety window protects the change before the new phone replaces the old one.
- A Guardian cannot approve checks as you or turn their phone into yours.
Privacy on the phone
Your private key and phone unlock stay private.
The signing key is non-exportable and protected by iOS or Android. FamVerify relocks after time in the background, obscures the app switcher and blocks screenshots or recordings on Android.
- FamVerify does not record calls, read messages or upload contacts.
- It never receives Face ID, fingerprints, biometric templates or your passcode.
Offline safety
Honest about what is live and what is saved.
An encrypted snapshot can keep familiar information available when the service cannot be reached. It is clearly time-stamped and read-only: checks, responses and Circle changes wait for a fresh connection.

Why FamVerify
Scams are getting harder to spot.
A cloned voice, compromised account or urgent message can feel completely genuine. When something doesn't add up, FamVerify gives your family one separate signal to check.
FamVerify works like a family safe word - except it can't be overheard, guessed or reused. Each response is signed fresh by the trusted phone behind a FamVerify identity, so a scammer with a cloned voice still can't answer it.

FamVerify confirms a fresh response from the trusted phone linked to an identity - not who is physically in control of it or whether their request is safe. Treat payments, bank transfers and urgent requests as a separate decision, even after a successful check.

Each Circle starts at £0.99 a month.
One capacity block covers one Circle of up to six active people. One payer can fund several Circles through the same app-store subscription.

There is no free trial. Billing is purchased and managed through the App Store on iPhone. Android is currently in closed testing; billing will be through Google Play when it launches. Your store shows the final local price before purchase.
